The Northern Light is a weekly University of Alaska Anchorage
publication funded by student fees and advertising sales.
The editors and writers of The Northern Light are solely
responsible for its contents. Circulation is 3,500-5,000.
The University of Alaska Anchorage provides equal education and employment

The Staff
The Northern Light staff is comprised of 30 student writers and editors.
Prospective staffers should stop by the Northern Light office in the
Campus Center room 215 or email northernlight@uaa.alaska.edu. A staff
directory is below.
There are positions available for writers, graphic artists, photographers,
online editors and advertising staffers.
