Calendar Events that run longer than three days:

  • BFA Exhibition in the Kimura Gallery will be displayed until Dec. 10. The gallery is in the Arts Building upstairs
  • Wrapped In Pride: Ghanaian Kente and African American Identity Exhibition at the Anchorage Museum of History and Art. Exhibit will be on display until Feb. 25, 2001.
  • UAA Sports Center - Every Friday night during December is family night. Children can swim from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. or skate from 8:15 to 10 p.m. The cost is $1.50 for children under 12 and $4.50 for adults. All children must be supervised. For more information, call 786-1231.
  • The Angel Tree is in the BEB. The Angel Tree is there to collect gifts for needy children, ages birth to 17 years. The tree will be there until Dec. 15. If interested contact, Alice Desroches at 786-6437.
  • “Holiday Memories” is being shown at Cyrano's at 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Dec. 23.
  • Visual Artists are invited to submit work to the Under 30 Inches Exhibit at Out North Contemporary Art House. Entries must be in by Dec. 20. For details, call 279-8099.
  • Final Exam Week - Dec. 11 through Dec. 15.
  • Textbook Buyback at the Campus Bookstore Dec. 8 though Dec. 18.
  • Campus Center Late Nights - open until 1 a.m. from Dec. 3 to Dec. 14.
